Proud to be Carbon Neutral

Our Mission as a business is to have a genuinely positive impact on the built environment around us, whilst supporting our clients in achieving the best possible outcomes. The need to create ‘positive impact’ informs everything we do and puts ESG at the heart of our activities.

Today, as we launch our new ESG strategy, we’re proud to announce that we’re officially a carbon neutral business.

Working with our sustainability partner Alectro and using the GHG protocol, we carefully analysed our scope 1, scope 2 and scope 3 emissions over the course of 2022. Thanks to measures we’ve already put into place to reduce our carbon footprint the 62.59 tCO2e of carbon we emitted is already relatively low for a business of our size and nature, but we’re determined to bring this down further.

In the meantime we’re supporting an offset project via Gold Standard, the world’s most reputable best practice standard for climate and sustainable development interventions. Our chosen project will fund a 300 MW Solar Plant at Bhadla, Rajasthan. You can read our full carbon footprint report and find information and certification for our offset project here.

"All of us at Jackson Coles care passionately about having a positive impact, and we fully recognise our responsibility to drive change.  Becoming a carbon neutral business is an important next step on the journey to building a better future."
