SEAT Westfield

Following the successful completion of numerous projects for Volkswagen Group UK we were asked to work on their subsidiary SEAT’s flagship retail store in Westfield – Shepherd’s Bush, which forms part of their move away from traditional car showrooms.

The design concept was inspired by SEAT’s Spanish heritage, with Gaudi-style mosaic tiles forming a communal seating area situated beneath an olive tree. Large elements of complex bespoke joinery and AV were used to create a space for customers already shopping in Westfield to discover the brand without the usual pressure of salespeople. The project also included a concierge desk by the lift lobby, a podium car display on the shopping concourse and a test drive centre office in the basement customer car park. The works were completed to a tight programme and within one of the busiest shopping centres in the UK.
