Catherine Bailie chosen as an NLA Expert Assessor

We’ve been a partner member of New London Architecture (NLA) for many years and really support their mission of bringing people together to shape a better city. So we’re delighted that Catherine Bailie will be using her expertise as a Project Manager (and former architect) to undertake the role of expert assessor in the workplace category for the NLA’s New London Awards 2023.

The annual awards recognise the very best new and proposed projects across all sectors of London’s built environment, focusing on those with the highest design quality and which also make a positive contribution to their surroundings and life in the capital. Shortlisted and winning projects are announced at the NLA Annual Lunch at the Guildhall, showcased in a publication and exhibition, and form a core part of the NLA’s year-round programme celebrating the very best architecture, development and planning across the capital. Catherine will be on the panel of ‘workplace’ expert assessor’s who’s role is to assist in the selection of the very best entries against key criteria in the built and unbuilt category. This group are then responsible for presenting the shortlist to an International Jury, who will make the final selection of winners later in the year.

We look forward to hearing Catherine’s updates on the judging, which we’re sure will be a challenging task based on the previous high standard of entries.
